      Hanover� Candied Sweet Potatoes with Brown Sugar Glaze.

      Includes 5 oz (142g) candied sauce mix packet.

      Ingredients

      Ingredients: Sweet Potatoes, Dextrose, Brown Sugar, Corn Syrup Solids, Cellulose Gum, Caramel Color.

      Directions

      Keep frozen.

      For food safety and quality, follow cooking directions and heat to a temperature of 160 degrees F.

      Microwave oven:

      Since microwave oven wattage varies, cooking times may need adjusting.

      1. Cut open bag and place frozen sweet potatoes in 1-quart size casserole dish. Sprinkle candied sauce mix evenly over potatoes. Add 2 tablespoons butter or margarine. Cover with plastic wrap, folding back a corner to vent.

      2. Microwave on high 8 minutes.

      3. Remove from oven and stir. Cut any large potatoes and heat an additional 2-4 minutes or until potatoes are fully cooked and tender.

      4. Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes before serving.

      Conventional oven:

      1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

      2. Cut open bag and place frozen sweet potatoes in 1-quart size casserole dish. Sprinkle candied sauce mix evenly over potatoes. Add 2 tablespoons butter or margarine. Cover and place in oven.

      3. Bake for 40 minutes on center rack.

      4. Remove from oven and stir. Cut any large potatoes and bake an additional 20-25 minutes or until potatoes are fully cooked and tender.

      5. Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes before serving.

      Stovetop:

      1. Add 1/4 cup water, 2 tablespoons butter or margarine and candied sauce mix to 1-quart size saucepan. Heat over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil, stirring frequently.

      2. Cut open bag and add frozen sweet potatoes to heated sauce. Stir to coat, cover and heat for 20 minutes on low heat stirring occasionally.

      3. Cut any large potatoes and continue heating 10-15 minutes or until potatoes are fully cooked and tender stirring occasionally.

      4. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

      Keep frozen until ready to use.

      Promptly refrigerate unused portion.
